The Files tab gives you a browser-based view of the SD card inserted in the Core Tap. From here you can upload audio files, organise them into folders, and delete files you no longer need.
A badge at the top of the tab shows whether an SD card is detected. If it reads No SD card detected, check that a card is fully inserted. The card must be formatted as FAT32.
The breadcrumb trail at the top of the file list shows your current location on the card. Click SD Card to return to the root, or click any folder name in the path to jump to it. Click a folder in the list to open it.
Tip: Organise audio files into folders (for example,
/audio/station1/) to keep things tidy. The paths you create here are what you enter in the Tap Actions audio selector.
Each file row has a Delete button. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone, so make sure you have a backup copy before removing anything.
Click Refresh to reload the file listing if you have made changes from another source or if the display appears stale.
